Recycling Station Information

We are emptying the bin about every 3-4 days. We collected approximately 840,000 lbs of recycling last program year(Aug-July).

We appreciate you using the bin for recycling only. Please be sure to rinse your cans and jars so that we do not have an issue with rodents. Smashing cardboard and plastic containers also helps with the issue of space.

The bins are no longer divided. All CLEAN recycling can be combined in the bin. It was being sorted when we had compartments, so the provider decided just to get a single compartment bin. Please be sure that you are only recycling items listed below.

Recycling area: The following items are accepted at the Recycling Center in Stockwell: cardboard, all colors of clean glass, plastics 1-7, smashed aluminum cans, newspaper, computers, catalogs, phone books and magazines.
